Ringkasan program
At the end of the first year of study, each student must declare a methodological field of study, which will be one of either Optimization or Applied Probability and Statistics and an applied field of study, which may be one of either Financial Engineering, Information Systems, or Manufacturing, Production and Logistics. Other custom-designed programs in applied fields are also permissible with approval. A student may optionally declare a minor field of study outside the ISE department. The selection of minor field is subject to approval and may include, but is not limited to Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Economics, Finance, Marketing, Materials Science, Mathematics, and Mechanical Engineering.
Modul program
The first year core modules include IE 406 Introduction to Mathematical Programming, MATH 301 Principles of Analysis I, IE 429 Stochastic Models and Applications, MATH 338 Linear Models in Statistics or ECO 416 Econometric Theory. Optimization core modules include CSE 340 Design and Analysis of Algorithms, CSE 440 Graph Theory and Applications, IE 411 Networks and Graphs. Applied Probability and Statistics core modules include ECO 415 Econometrics, ECO 416 Econometric Theory, ECO 460 Time Series Analysis. Financial Engineering core modules include GBUS 413 Advanced Management Accounting, GBUS 414 Financial Statement Analysis and Interpretation, GBUS 419 Financial Management. Information Systems core modules include CSE 340 Design and Analysis of Algorithms, CSE 366 Object-Oriented Programming, CSE 411 Advanced Programming Techniques. Manufacturing, Production and Logistics core modules include ECO 460 Time Series Analysis, ECO 461 Forecasting, IE 340 Production Engineering.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Applicant should have a minimum GRE score of 75 percentile in the Quantitative and Analytical areas. The minimum required TOEFL score is 550 on the written test and 213 on the computer version. The iBT (Internet based TOEFL) score requirements are: Reading - 20; Listening - 15; Speaking - 20; Writing - 20. The minimum composite score total - 79.
