Ringkasan program
This program requires a minimum of 96 semester hours plus a one-year internship. The qualified and accepted student may enter a degree program holding either a bachelor’s or master’s degree. No more than 30 hours from a master’s degree can be applied toward deficiencies for the doctoral degree. A student entering with a master’s degree or equivalent may, upon the consent of the advisory committee, transfer a maximum of 12 appropriate semester hours beyond the master’s degree, provided the work has been taken in a department offering a doctoral degree in psychology. Thus, a minimum of 48 hours in residence would remain to be completed. The 20 hours in general core psychology include the following: advanced social psychology, advanced research design, advanced statistics, theories of learning, advanced history and systems, and advanced physiological psychology. The clinical core consists of professional issues and ethics; assessment, evaluation and diagnosis; psychotherapy; psychopathology; and clinical service skills.

The modules include PSYC 5420 Assessment I. 4, PSYC 5430 Assessment II 4, PSYC 5700 Quantitative Methods I 4, PSYC 5780 Psychopathology 3, PSYC 5820 Assessment Practicum (6 hours), PSYC 5831-PSYC 5832 Psychological Methods Practicum 1-3 and PSYC 5950 Master’s Thesis 3 or 6, Electives: PSYC 5640 Cognitive and Affective Bases of Behavior 3 and one additional course selected from PSYC 5010 Human Development 3, PSYC 5070 Medical and Behavioral Disorders 4, PSYC 5640 Cognitive and Affective Bases of Behavior 3, PSYC 5680 Counseling Psychology Methods 3 and PSYC 5710 Quantitative Methods II 4.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a regionally accredited institution. Students should have a 2.8 grade point average or higher on all undergraduate work or a 3.0 GPA on the last 60 hours of their undergraduate degree or a 3.4 GPA on their master's degree. International students should have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 79 (Internet-based), score of 550 (Paper-based) and score of 213 (Computer-based) and a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 overall band and also should have minimum MELAB (official version) score of 80 or higher.
