Ringkasan program
This program is a 48-credit, clinical track for individuals with a master’s degree in Audiology. The student can complete it on a full-time or a part-time basis. It includes academic coursework and research experience. Clinical practicum requirements are based on an evaluation of clinical skills during the first year of the program. The coursework focuses on advanced clinical procedures and the scientific bases of clinical practice. Courses are selected on an individual basis and include electives in areas of interest to the student. The Post-Professional Clinical Doctoral track includes courses in: Advanced Auditory Potentials, Advanced Medical Audiology, Advanced Amplification, Advanced Psychoacoustics, Biomedical Ethics, Speech Perception, and Central Auditory Processing.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students wishing to matriculate in this area must have completed a bachelor’s degree. Graduate students must demonstrate communication skills that will not interfere with clinical practice. A student who is judged to have questionable skills will be referred to a faculty panel for further evaluation. If necessary the student will be referred for assistance. Students requiring assistance will be reevaluated before they are allowed to enroll for clinical practice. Enrollment in clinical practice will be postponed until communication skills are judged to be sufficient. Student must complete GRE, GMAT, and TOEFL are administered worldwide by Educational Testing Service (ETS). Test of English as a Foreign Language/Internet Based Test where available (TOEFL/ IBT) is required of all students whose native language is not English and whose degree was obtained in a country where English is not the official language.
