Ringkasan program
DNP program prepares nurses for the most advanced level of clinical nursing practice, nursing administration, and nursing education. Our DNP curriculum features a one-year curriculum composed of 38 credits, with a unique focus on health disparities. Students may choose from one of three distinct tracks: clinical, administration, and education. Classes are offered in an executive-education format on one long weekend per month for 12 consecutive months. The concentrated, long weekend format—comprising Friday, Saturday, Sunday and ½ day on Monday—has been designed for working professionals. Online components and practical experiences are assigned between classes. Students are encouraged to remain in the workforce, using the knowledge and skills they acquire in the classroom in their practice environment. A new cohort of students will be recruited each year beginning in the Spring Semester. Department believe that the cohort group experience is important for working professionals returning to academia, and it is a critical factor in completing our DNP program.

DNP Admission Requirements: A Baccalaureate degree in nursing for the BSN to PhD program and/or a Master’s degree for the MSN to PhD program with an outstanding academic record from an accredited institution; Graduate Record Examination (GRE) score; Applicants for whom English is not the native language must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language.
