Ringkasan program
The mission of the Doctor of Philosophy in Design program in the College of Design at North Carolina State University is to advance knowledge in design through research and scholarship. This mission is built on the recognition of fertile common ground between the design disciplines and on the need for specificity and depth within them. The PhD program, therefore, values a broad range of research interests that aim to improve the human condition.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
A master degree is required for Ph.D. A bachelor degree is required for Masters for admission. The NC State University Graduate School and the College of Design process the submitted application materials. Applications are then reviewed by the PhD in Design faculty for recommendations to the Graduate School regarding admission actions. Only one official transcript is required from each previously attended institution Provide references from at least three people who know Studentsr academic record and potential for graduate study. Provide Graduate Record Examination/GRE scores. Foreign language students only must provide Test of English as a Foreign Language/TOEFL score of at least 550/213 in order to be accepted into the Graduate School. A resume with portfolio should be included with application.
