Ringkasan program
Students will find that the study of history offers not only a strong foundation for a liberal education but also a means of understanding the contemporary world. The skills developed in gathering, assessing, and synthesizing information have wide application in many careers, including business and the professions. Students choosing this concentration must have the approval of their adviser and the director of undergraduate studies for a specific program of study.

Students must have official secondary school transcript, counselor letter of recommendation, and two academic teacher recommendations. The SAT Reasoning Test or the ACT with Writing is required of all undergraduate applicants. These standardized university entrance examinations measure verbal and mathematic skills. Applicants whose first language and language of instruction is not English are required to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing Service(IELTS). A minimum score of 85 on the internet-based test, 230 on the computer-based test, and 6.5 on the IELTS are recommended. Institutional TOEFL examinations are not acceptable; the examinations must be taken at an official TOEFL testing center.
