Uraian Tempat

The goal of the Department is to offer excellence in research, teaching and technical skills. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, computer science occupations are projected to grow more than twice as fast as the average for all other occupations. Their accredited bachelors programs offer a wide variety of courses such as database-backed web development and artificial intelligence. Their masters program will prepare students for a career in the computer industry; it includes a year-long capstone project in which they will develop a large scale software application for an outside client. At the doctoral level, their research faculty and PhD students are investigating topics in applied database research, biodiversity informatics, data mining, distributed software systems, network information systems, and visual attention.

This university is a public, urban, commuter university, located three miles south of downtown Boston. As a commuter school, the university has no residence halls or any other forms of housing. Thus, to assist prospective and currently enrolled students and members of the University community in locating a place to live, the Office of Student Housing (OSH) is pleased to welcome the students to the Boston area and their staff looks forward to helping the student to find a place to call home.
