A major in Latin consists of at least 24 hours, Majors are encouraged to take courses in related areas, such as ancient history and classical literature. Latin majors must pass an exit examination.

The modules include LAT 111, 112, and 251 or consent of instructor are prerequisites for all 300-level courses.LAT 111-112. Beginning Latin I and II (3 hours), LAT 251. Intermediate Latin (3 hours), LAT 253S-353S. Latin Studies Abroad (Variable credit; up to 15 hours), LAT 300. Republican Prose (3 hours), LAT 310. Imperial Prose (3 hours), LAT 320. Comedy (3 hours), LAT 330. Philosophical Texts (3 hours), LAT 340. Vergil (3 hours), LAT 350. Ovid (3 hours), LAT 360. Lyric Poetry (3 hours), LAT 370. Satire (3 hours), LAT 485. Assistantship for Latin 111-112 (1 hour), LAT 490. Supervised Independent Study (1-3 hours).
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Applicants must have minimum TOEFL score of 525 for undergraduates and 550 for graduate students and they need to submit the results of SAT and/or ACT score(s). In order to graduate in honors in French, German, Latin or Spanish should attain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0; (4) attain a 3.75 grade point average in language courses.
