Ringkasan program
This program is designed for outstanding students majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Through a mentored research program format, students' problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills are developed to provide excellent preparation for graduate school or professional careers.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must have secondary school evaluation report, official high school or college transcripts, a minimum ACT score of 20 or a minimum SAT combined score of 950 (critical thinking + math), a minimum TOEFL score (UAB code 1856) of 500 on the written examination, or a score of 173 on the computer-based version, or 61 on the Internet-based version or IELTS score of 5.5 overall bandwith with no less than a 5.0 on any module for international students whose native language is not English. Acceptance into this program requires the student to have: earned a 3.25 GPA in mechanical engineering courses attempted, a 3.00 GPA overall, completed the first 64 hours of the curriculum leading toward a Bachelor of Science degree, arranged with a Mechanical Engineering faculty mentor to do a research project in Mechanical Engineering.
