Santa Clara University School of Law, founded in 1911 on the site of California’s oldest operating higher-education institution, is dedicated to educating lawyers who lead with a commitment to excellence, ethics, and social justice. One of the nation’s most diverse law schools, Santa Clara Law offers its 975 students an academically rigorous program, including graduate degrees in international law and intellectual property law; combined J.D./MBA degree; and certificates in intellectual property law, international law, and public interest and social justice law. Santa Clara Law is located in the world-class business center of Silicon Valley, and is distinguished nationally for their top-ranked program in intellectual property. The Housing Office, in collaboration with the Office of Residence Life, is invested in creating and promoting a living and learning environment to broaden and enhance the student university experience. The residence hall is provided for both graduate and undergraduate students. The undergraduate residential hall are Bellarmine Hall (Communitas RLC), Campisi Hall (Communitas RLC), Casa Italiana (daVinci RLC), Dunne Hall (Modern Perspectives RLC), Graham Complex (Alpha RLC), McLaughlin Hall (Unity RLC), Nobili Hall, Sanfilippo Hall (Xavier RLC), Sobrato Hall (Loyola RLC), • St. Clare Hall, Swig Hall (CyPhi RLC) and Walsh Hall (Unity RLC). The graduate residential halls are Villa Apartments, University Square Studios, Alviso House and Park Avenue Duplex. Most of the residence halls have traditional double rooms and large common bathrooms. All the rooms have an extra-long twin bed, closet space, a chest of drawers, desks, and chairs, high-speed Internet connections and a cable TV hookup in every room. SCU Dining Services offers a variety of dining options throughout the day on campus to serve both the resident and commuter student community. All resident students will select their Resident Dining Plan as they complete their housing contract. The dining plans are conveniently based on points, which can be spent anywhere on campus throughout the quarter. Non-resident students can also enjoy the convenience of a dining plan and an 8.25% savings on food purchases by opening a Dining plus plan at any time during the academic year; resident students can also use Dining Plus as a supplement to their existing plan. All dining plans may be used at all campus dining locations and the Cellar Market.
