Ringkasan program
This program is designed for law students preparing for careers in government service requiring specialized legal knowledge. The heart of the program is a reciprocity agreement between UM's School of Law and the Graduate School, which allows the M.P.A. and J.D. degrees to be completed in a shorter period of time than if they were taken consecutively.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Applicants must have a baccalaureate degree from an accredited U.S. institution or equivalent degree. Admission is based upon undergraduate GPA, letters of reference and GRE scores. In some cases the LSAT, GMAT, TOEFL, IELTS or MELAB may substitute for the GRE for the MPA program. Applicants whose native language is not English, must submit TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language), IELTS (International English Language Testing System) or MELAB (Michigan English Language Assessment Battery) scores to be admitted as a graduate nondegree or graduate degree seeking student. If the TOEFL score is below 580 (paper-based test), 237 (computer-based test) or 92 (internet based test), the IELTS score is below 7.0 or the MELAB score is below 82, applicants may be admitted provisionally into a graduate program or as a graduate nondegree student and be required to complete English as a Second Language course(s) before they can take courses in their major.
