Fordham University’s commitment to business started early in the 20th century with the founding of the undergraduate College of Business in 1920. The Graduate School of Business opened in 1969 as part of the redevelopment of Lincoln Center. Nestled in the southern border of an eight-acre green campus, the school has flourished in the cultural heart of Manhattan. In addition, a companion campus was developed in Westchester County, and, just a few years ago, it began offering a Fordham MBA at Peking University in Beijing, China. This program, known as BiMBA (Beijing international MBA), is the first sino-foreign program of its kind approved by the PRC ‘s State Ministry of Education. Thus, Fordham’s Graduate School of Business degrees are now offered at a total of three campuses, two in New York and one in Asia. Alumni of Fordham Graduate School of Business School total about 14,000 so far.

The residence halls at Rose hill Campus are the students' homes from August to May and, as such, are places where participation in the community is expected and rewarded. There are 15 residence halls here. The campus, far from merely a place to sleep, eat, and socialize, is a giant virtual classroom where one's daily life is preparation for career, citizenship, service, and devotion after graduation. The job of all of us who work in The Office of Residential Life at Rose Hill is to assist in providing this kind of education. Lincoln Center Campus also provides accommodation facilities for students. Located in the heart of Manhattan's culturally rich Upper West Side neighborhood, McMahon Hall is home to over 740 Undergraduate and 140 Law students. The Residence Hall adjoins the world-renowned Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and is just minutes from storied Central Park.
