Ringkasan program

This joint degree provides students with the knowledge of the political, economic and cultural environment in which international law is developing. Law full-time students will have the opportunity to earn both degrees in four years. This strategy is particularly appropriate for law students with a strong foreign language and social science background who wish to present themselves to law firms and government agencies as international legal specialists. The Global Culture concentration is a variety of consequences to a group's sense of self and community, both in a positive and negative sense, to living in this kind of global community. Global Culture Studies is the term given to scholarship that focuses on this human experience.

Modul program

The modules are First Year: student must complete the required first year College of Law coursework, as described on page; Second Year: student enrolls in 12 semester hours (4 courses) in the College of Law and 24 quarter hours (6 courses) in the International Studies program. Students must register for Criminal Procedure in the fall of their second year; Third Year: student enrolls in 12 semester hours in the College of Law (4 courses) and 16 quarter hours (4 courses) in the International Studies program. Before graduation, College of Law students must pass Legal Profession and successfully complete a Senior Research Seminar in an International Law subject; Fourth Year: student enrolls in a total of 24 semester hours (8 courses) in the College of Law. Electives for the Joint Program from the College of Law: International Criminal Law: Substantive (seminar), International Criminal Law: Procedure (seminar), International Environmental Law (seminar), International and Comparative Aspects of Art and the Law (seminar), Public International Law, Comparative Law, Law of the European Union, International Business Transactions, International Protection of Human Rights, International Trade Law, International Organizations, International Studies Core Curriculum: Pro-seminar in International Studies, Complex Social Organizations, Movements, Regimes and Ideologies, International Communication Theories, Economics in the International Context, Seminar in Global Geography.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) GPA or higher. Applicants for whom English was not the language of their undergraduate degree, students from foreign universities, and applicants originally from non-English language high schools with a non-liberals arts degree (i.e., engineering, business, etc.) from a U.S. university must have a TOEFL scores higher than 96 (internet test), 243 (computer test), or 590 (paper test).
