Ringkasan program
This program leading to a Master of Science in Hospitality Information Management. The goal of the program is first to develop students for successful careers as corporate hospitality information managers, consultants, and hospitality technology systems implementation professionals, and second to offer high-quality, professional-level instruction for current hospitality managers seeking to further their education by applying technology solutions in operational settings. It is also designed to provide students interested in future doctoral work in hospitality and tourism management a sound foundation toward that goal. The thesis may be of a conceptual or empirical nature, and must demonstrate the students ability to conduct scholarly research and to report the results in a manner worthy of publication. The student will work with a thesis advisor and have a committee of at least 3. The student will need to complete the thesis and successfully defend the thesis in a final oral defense to complete this requirement. The student would register for HRIM 869 Masters Thesis for 6 credits.

Admission to the program may be offered to individuals with bachelor's degree who possess a strong, mature interest in counseling college-age students or in working as a student affairs administrator. A minimum overall grade index of 3.0 (4.0 scale) and an index of 3.25 in the undergraduate major as well as Graduate Record Examination scores totaling 1050 on the verbal and quantitative sections are usually required. A score of 600 or better on the paper-based TOEFL (250 or better on the computer-based TOEFL) is required of international applicants.
