Ringkasan program
This program is designed to prepare teachers and leadership personnel in various aspects of gifted education and talent development. The program is based upon the belief that the development of talent in areas, as well as concern for the moral and ethical development of persons, is essential in all children. This program is intended for persons who are interested in making creative contributions to the field as well as learning about the subject matter and teaching procedures that constitute gifted education and enrichment teaching and learning. The three summers master's program frequently leads to service as a teacher or enrichment specialist.

The modules are EPSY 360 Introduction to Gifted Education and Talent Development, EPSY 370 Developing School wide Enrichment Programs, EPSY 459 Curricular Options for High Ability Learners, EPSY 365 Creativity, EPSY 341 Principles and Methods in Educational Research, EPSY 384 Seminar in Gifted Education, EPSY 311 Confratute Workshop in Education, EPSY 326 Confratute Curriculum Lab, EPSY 381 Practicum, EPSY 366 Improving Students' Thinking Skills, EPSY 368 Social and Emotional Components of Giftedness and Talent Development, EPSY 300 Action Research in Gifted Education, EPSY 300 Educators Collaborating with Parents and Community, EPSY 300 Creative Problem Solving, EPSY 300 Readings (Critical Issues) in Gifted Education, EPSY 300 Underserved Populations and Multicultural Aspects of Gifted Education, EPSY 300 Parenting for Talent Development, EPSY 300 Counseling Techniques and Affective Strategies for Teachers of Gifted Students, EPSY 300 Developing Talents in the Arts, EPSY 300 Curriculum Options for Gifted Students Using the Parallel Curriculum Model, EPSY 373 Strategies for Differentiating the Grade Level Curriculum.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must hold a baccalaureate degree or its equivalent from a regionally accredited college or university with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 for the entire undergraduate record or a grade point average of at least 3.0 for the last two undergraduate years. Students should have the test of English as a foreign language (TOEFL) minimum overall score of 550 for the paper-based test, 213 for the computer-based test, or 80 for the internet-based test is required or International English Language Testing System (IELTS), students need an average overall band score of at least 6.5. Only the scores from the academic module, not the general training module, are applicable.
