Ringkasan program
The main difference between this track and the financial economics track is the requirement of an internship to gain some experience in the finance world. This, combined with a reduced mathematics requirement, allows the student to explore other empirical finance courses, and to get a somewhat more hands-on understanding of financial economics.
Modul program
The following are the modules: Year 1: Microeconomics (Econ 205), Asset Pricing and Risk Management (Econ 268), and Intro. To Statistical Methods (Stat 213), Macroeconomics (Econ 210), Introduction to Econometrics (Econ 239), Investment (Fin 352.402), and Quantitative Finance (Fin 491.301), Year 2: Finance I (BA 551.01), Time Series Econometrics (Econ 220), and Mathematical Finance (Math 215), Completed required internship and graduated at end of the spring semester.

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree (or the equivalent of a four-year U.S. bachelor’s degree) from an accredited institution and, for degree programs, satisfactory scores on the Graduate Record Examination (GRE). International applicants must have minimum TOEFL score of 83 (internet-based test) or a minimum IELTS score of 7.0.
