Ringkasan program
This program prepares teachers and specialists in the field of reading. Classroom teachers, reading specialists or consultants, supervisors, administrators are responsible for developing programs which will enable every student to attain their maximum proficiency in the use of reading and language. To meet this end, several courses have been devised which focus on classroom reading instruction and reading difficulties. Through the Reading Clinic, students also have opportunities for laboratory experiences as well as for research and study in reading, literature, and language arts.
Modul program
The modules are as follows: Core Courses: EDLT 222: Cultivating Children's Literacy in Elementary/Middle School, EDLT 236: Multicultural Children's Literature, EDLT 375: Literacy Assessment: Understanding Individual Differences, EDLT 376: Clinical and Tutorial Approaches for Literacy Intervention, EDLT 385: Critical Issues in Language and Literacy.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students should have a U.S. baccalaureate degree or an equivalent international degree earned prior to the date of first graduate enrollment at The University of Vermont. International students should have a minimum acceptable TOEFL score of 80 on the internet based, 213 on the computer based, 550 on the paper based and a minimum of IELTS score of 6.5 is required for admission.
