This program is available for students who possess a bachelor's degree in business, family and consumer sciences, or technology education or a related field in any of those areas. If a student is already teaching but does not have a master's degree, then that student should choose option 2.

Applicant should be a graduate of a regionally accredited institution in the U.S., or of a similar foreign university whose requirements for the bachelor's degree are substantially equivalent to those at the University of Arkansas, may be considered for admission to the Graduate School. In addition to this, they should have equivalent of at least 16 years schooling; have pursued a curriculum comparable to one at the University of Arkansas; have earned at least a 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) grade point average on the last 60 hours of bachelor's degree course work (approximately last two years of a four-year degree program). International students should have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 550 on paper- based) test 79 on internet-based test or a 6.5 on the IELTS.
