Ringkasan program
This program is designed to prepare students to collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals and service agencies in the development, implementation and evaluation of instructional programs and supports for learners with disabilities in integrated school and community settings. It requires that students have appropriate professional experience.
Modul program
The modules are as follows: Core Courses: EDSP 201: Foundations of Special Education (3 cr), EDSP 202: Severe Disabilities; Characteristics and Interventions (3 cr), EDSP 217: Behavior Analysis in Special Education (3 cr), EDSP 224: Meeting Instructional Needs of All Students (3 cr)EDSP 280: Assessment (3 cr), EDSP 290: Early Literacy and Mathematics (3 cr), EDSP 297: Adolescent Literacy and Mathematics (3 cr), EDSP 387: Collaborative Consultation (3 cr), EDSP 322 and 323: Internship (12 cr); Electives Include: EDSP 200: Special Education Law (3 cr), EDSP 296: Woodcock-Johnson III (3 cr), CSD 313: Augmentative Communication (3 cr), CSD 299: Autism Spectrum Disorder (3 cr).
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students should have a U.S. baccalaureate degree or an equivalent international degree earned prior to the date of first graduate enrollment at The University of Vermont. International students should have a minimum acceptable TOEFL score of 80 on the internet based, 213 on the computer based, 550 on the paper based and a minimum of IELTS score of 6.5 is required for admission.
