Ringkasan program
In this program, the research starts from the understanding that social relations, social struggles, and social justice are all intricately related to the ways that political-economic processes are imbricate in and transformed through spatial relationships. In addition to understanding the relationship between political economy and geography, it seeks to understand the relationship political economy and gender; political economy and labor; political economy and the restructuring of places and regions; political economy and culture. In all of these, want to understand how space, place, region, and scale structure and restructure political economic processes, even as political economic processes restructure space, place, region, and scale.
