Ringkasan program
This program leads to teacher standards and practices commission licensure. The approved program at the UO consists of a minimum of 63 credits in communication disorders and sciences course work, culminating in licensure and a master’s degree in communication disorders and sciences. The commission may have additional requirements that must be completed before a teaching license is issued. Direct questions about the licensure process to the student academic services office. The Department of Special Education and Clinical Sciences offers initial and continuing endorsements with options for an add-on (level I) endorsement or a stand-alone (level II) endorsement.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must have an undergraduate degree or equivalent in communication disorders and sciences from an accredited four-year college or university with a minimum GPA of 3.00 and 3.5 in CDS major. Students must have the prerequisites of anatomy/physiology, audiology (six semester hours), language acquisition, phonetics, speech science/acoustics, and clinical observation. Students must have a minimum GRE score of 950 cumulative for verbal and quantitative; minimum 400 verbal; TSE score of 50 with relevant experience and academic background. Students must have a minimum Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 600 on the paper-based test or 250 on the computer-based or 100 on the internet based test.
