Ringkasan program
This program involves the use of ionizing radiation in the treatment of patients with cancer and occasionally non-malignant conditions. Therapeutic doses of ionizing radiation may only be prescribed by a physician who possesses the appropriate training and experience in the application of this modality. The delivery of radiation as a therapeutic modality demands strict attention to the training and experience of all personnel associated with this process, the equipment used in this process and the patient and personnel safety in the delivery of a process.

Applicants without a bachelor’s degree must complete the HSC Core Curriculum or the core curriculum of another Texas public university or college, in addition to the MOT program prerequisites. Many program prerequisites will satisfy core curriculum requirements. Applicants with a bachelor’s degree are required to complete only the program prerequisites (see “Core Curriculum” and “Program Prerequisites,” below).Program prerequisite grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0.Completion of Texas core curriculum coursework with a grade of C or better (see “Core Curriculum”); required of applicants without a bachelor’s degree.Completion of program prerequisites with a grade of C or better (see “Program Prerequisites”); required of all applicants.
