Ringkasan program
This program prepares students for employment in management and leadership positions with agencies that deliver health care services. Students are successful in securing employment in psychiatric institutions, in physical rehabilitation units, in drug and alcohol treatment centers, and in community based programs, long-term care facilities, outdoor and school-based programs and children's programs. Graduates fulfill the eligibility requirements for the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification (NCTRC).
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by the appropriate regional accrediting agency. A foreign degree must be equivalent to a U.S. Bachelor's degree and must be accredited by its regional or national accreditation agency. Applicants must have earned a minimum of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or other equivalent to a 'B' average. If student have completed previous graduate course work, they must have a grade-point average of 3.0 on a 4-point scale or equivalent. Applicants whose native language is not English are required to take and pass the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Passing marks are 550 for paper-based test, 213 for computer-based test or 80 for internet-based test (iBT) with a minimum score of 20 in each sub-section. Passing marks for the IELTS are 6.5. Official scores must be received directly from the Educational Testing Service.
