This program offers you the opportunity to gain the personal and professional expertise necessary to become a successful teacher. Study a broad base of methods and pedagogical knowledge. Earn your K-12 Licensure. Clinical field experiences in area schools. Student teaching experience. Once you have successfully completed the program requirements you will be recommended by the University of St. Thomas to the State of Minnesota for teaching licensure. The University of St. Thomas teacher education programs are fully accredited by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. School of Education licensure programs prepare students for the most recent licensing requirements established by the Minnesota Department of Children, Families and Learning and the Minnesota Board of Teaching.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

The applicant must hold a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university or its equivalent. A minimum scores in Test of English as a Foreign Language 550 Paper-based, 213 Computer-based, 80 Internet- based with a minimum score of 20 for both the writing, and speaking sections of the test School code 6110. Michigan English Language Assessment Battery 80, International English Language Testing System, 6.5 for graduate programs. Master’s programs require a bachelor’s degree (or the equivalent degree if earned outside the U.S.) for admission. An overall grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.7 meets minimum requirements, but applicants with lower GPAs will be considered based on their professional experience.
