This program gives students the opportunity to undertake advanced study in fields of their choosing through either the writing of a thesis or the completion of 36 hours of coursework. It offers training in the writing of poetry, fiction, and non-fiction. Many of the creative writing students have gone on to further study in MFA or PhD programs.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students must hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a regionally accredited institution. Students must have at least a 3.0 GPA on the last 60 hours of undergraduate semester credit hours prior to receiving a bachelor’s degree or a 2.8 GPA on all undergraduate work. Students should have presented verbal scores ranging from the 50th to the 98th percentile and analytical writing scores ranging from 3.0 to 6.0. International students should have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 79 (Internet-based), score of 550 (Paper-based) and score of 213 (Computer-based) and a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 overall band and also should have minimum MELAB (official version) score of 80 or higher.
