Ringkasan program

This program combines clinical evaluation, community concerns, and food service management into a profession long valued for its service to people. Accredited by the American Dietetics Association (ADA), students apply in their sophomore year for the Coordinated Program in Dietetics (CPD). Coursework in the junior year is at the Moscow campus. Students move to Spokane for their supervised practicum in community and medical center settings their senior year. Following graduation, students are eligible to take the Registered Dietitian (RD) exam to become licensed and begin practicing as a dietitian in a variety of settings.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students who have no previous work at the post-secondary level must have at least a 2.5 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) from a secondary school. Students must also meet the criteria for admission to university level study in their home country. Students must have any one of the following as proof of English competency - TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) with a minimum score of 525 on the paper test or 70 on the internet based test; completion of the University of Idaho American Language and Culture Program (ALCP); SAT critical reading with a minimum score of 500; IELTS (International English Language Testing System) with a minimum score of 6.0; Cambridge CAE (Certificate in Advanced English) with a pass; Cambridge CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English) with a pass; Cambridge International 'O' Levels with a pass; MELAB (Michigan English Language Assessment Battery) with a score of 74. English proficiency demonstration is waived for any applicant who has a previous degree at an accredited U.S. institution or who have taken English classes at U.S. institutions and passed those classes or students from countries where English is the native language and/or the official language for academic instruction.
