Ringkasan program
This program is designed for students who wish to study music in its historical, social, and cultural contexts and in relation to other arts. Although majors will be encouraged to develop performance skills, the focus of the degree will be on the study of musical cultures and styles in a liberal arts environment. Students explore the music of many different periods and cultural traditions.
Modul program
The modules are HOM 165: Understanding Music I, HOM 166: Understanding Music II, HOM 195: Performance Live, HOM 266: European Music before 1750, HOM 267: European Music 1750-1945, HOM 268: European and American Music since 1945, HOM 285: Introduction to World Music.

Students must demonstrate sufficient academic preparation to achieve success in their studies at Syracuse University; the ability to pay for their education here; and proficiency in the English language. International students must have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 85 or minimum IELTS score of 6.5.
