The program in Education is designed to address the knowledge and competencies required for teachers to meet the professional demands in today’s schools, including a command of the most current knowledge and educational research, content knowledge and expertise in curriculum, instruction and assessment, educational leadership skills to support collaborative efforts to improve schools and student learning, human relations skills to optimize their interactions with students, colleagues, parents, and other members of the school community.
Modul program
The core courses are in Computers as a Teacher’s Aid: Curriculum and Instruction, Curriculum and Instruction: Theory and Practice, Supervision of Instruction & Personnel Evaluation, Curriculum/Program Evaluation and Student Assessment, Change Curriculum Development & Program Improvement, Master’s Seminar: Research in Specialization. The specialization are in the field of instructional Technology Specialist Certificate, Literacy/Reading Specialist Certificate and New Jersey Reading Specialist Endorsement, Teacher of Students with Disabilities Endorsement, English as a Second Language (ESL) Certificate and second New Jersey Certification, Multicultural Education Specialist Certificate, Professional Studies Concentration, Mathematics Education Specialist Certificate.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
All the applicants are required to hold a bachelor degree in the related field from an accredited institution or university. The transcripts must be translated into English and be officially certified with a seal that it is an accurate and true translation. If these instructions are not followed, the transcript will be returned to the student. Forward proof of English proficiency through the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). The University has strict requirements in this area and a minimum score of 515 (paper test) or 187 (computer- based test) on the TOEFL is essential. The Scores of GMAT, GRE are Essential.Standard Teacher License.A cumulative grade point ratio of 3.25 CGPR in the first 9 credits of the M.A. program which then must be maintained at the same level to complete the program.
