Modul program
The modules include Option 1: 18 hours of required courses: LING 5060, Second Language Acquisition, LING 5080, Teaching English as a Second Language, LING 5090, Pedagogical English Grammar, LING 5300, Phonology, LING 5310, Syntax, LING 5340, Practicum in Teaching English as a Second Language, 6 hours of elective LING courses, Master's thesis (includes 6 hours of LING 5950), Thesis defense; Option 2: 18 hours of required courses; 6 hours of elective LING courses, Two original scholarly papers each on a different topic (includes 6 hours of LING 5920), Papers defense, Option 3: 18 hours of required courses; 18 hours of elective LING courses, Comprehensive examination, Option IV: Required Courses at UNT (Year 1), Courses offered at UAEM (Year 2), Professional Development Project.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a regionally accredited institution. Students must have at least a 3.0 GPA on the last 60 hours of undergraduate semester credit hours prior to receiving a bachelor’s degree or a 2.8 GPA on all undergraduate work. Students should have GRE a minimum of verbal scores ranging from the 50th to the 99th percentile and analytical writing scores ranging from 4.0 to 6.0. International students should have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 79 (Internet-based), score of 550 (Paper-based) and score of 213 (Computer-based) and a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 overall band and also should have minimum MELAB (official version) score of 80 or higher.
