Ringkasan program

This program focuses on history and archives track. They train students for careers as information-age and historically minded archivists. This an exciting and challenging time for archives and archivists on the one hand digital technologies are mushrooming, requiring new skills for capturing and disseminating documentary evidence; on the other hand, there are increasing opportunities for the delivery of documentary information, both to the general public and to scholars. Archivists entering the field today are actively engaged with the digital era, while retaining traditional commitments to careful preservation of and efficient access to information.

Modul program

The program modules are as follows: HIST 600: Graduate Research and Methods Seminar (3 Cr.), HIST 605: Colloquium (3 Cr.), HIST 690: Thesis Preparation (3 Cr.), HIST 699: M.A. Thesis (6 Cr.), Five History electives 2 of which can be upper-level Undergraduate courses (300 Level or higher).

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students should have a four-year bachelor degree from an accredited US college or university, or a degree which is in all respects equivalent. They should have a minimum cumulative grade point average in undergraduate work of 2.75. In addition they should have a minimum TOEFL score of 550 for paper-based, 213 for computer-based, 79 for internet-based and IELTS score of 6.0. Applicants who have received at least four years of education (including their undergraduate program) in Australia, Canada (except Quebec), England, Ireland, Kenya, New Zealand, Scotland, Singapore, United States, or Wales are exempt from submitting a TOEFL or IELTS score report.
