This program will challenge you to fill the role of change agent, innovator and leader in your organization. This degree is designed to help you excel in organizational effectiveness. Courses are developed within the St. Thomas values-based, liberal arts tradition. We are committed to improving practice based on theory and research. Human resources programs feature Competency-based learning – Curriculum is designed to enhance the knowledge and skills needed for a variety of roles within organizations. Learning for the real-world – Taught by faculty with professional experience, the focus is on practice, based in theory. Connections – Tap into a regional network of peers and mentors in the human resource field. Convenient scheduling – Most classes are offered one evening per week or Saturdays on the downtown Minneapolis campus. Multinational connections - Having international students around the world helps you to understand the culture around the world. By earning this degree the students will Understand human resource development, adult psychological development and adult learning. Assess the needs of an organization and to design learning programs to meet these needs.

The core studies are in Introduction to Human Resource Leadership, Leading Organizational Change, Insights and Practics in Adult Learning and Development, Managing Team and Organizational Conflict, Measuring Organizational Outcomes, Organizational Systems and Processes, Strategic Human Resource and Change Leadership.

The applicant must hold a Master's degree from a regionally accredited college or university or its equivalent. A minimum scores in Test of English as a Foreign Language 550 Paper-based, 213 Computer-based, 80 Internet- based with a minimum score of 20 for both the writing, and speaking sections of the test School code 6110. Michigan English Language Assessment Battery 80, International English Language Testing System, 6.5 for graduate programs. Master's programs require a bachelor's degree (or the equivalent degree if earned outside the U.S.) for admission. An overall grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.7 meets minimum requirements, but applicants with lower GPAs will be considered based on their professional experience.Admissions test results. Miller Analogies Test (MAT) score of 55 or 390 (less than five years old), a cumulative Graduate Record Examination (GRE) score of 1500 or 420 verbal/550 quantitative/4.0 analytical writing or a GMAT score of 510 preferred.
