Ringkasan program
The Master of Arts degree in International Studies equips students with the tools to engage in a globally integrated environment, whether in the realm of international diplomacy, the international economy, or provision by non-governmental organizations of humanitarian aid and economic development assistance, as well as global environmental advocacy. Program coursework provides a rigorous foundation in international relations theory and practice, comparative politics, international economics, and analytic and statistical methods. Students in the program also have the flexibility to pursue more advanced work in the current concepts, theories and research issues of international political, social, economic and cultural development, in addition to the politics, histories, cultures and economies of specific regions.

The modules include PSC 5513 - International Relations Theory, PSC 5563 - International Political Economy, PSC 5663 - Comparative Political Analysis, ECON 5273 - Survey of International Economics, IAS 5113 – Field Seminar in International Studies, BAD 5033 - Statistical Modeling for Decision-Making, ECON 5023 - Statistics for Decision Making, PSC 5913 - Introduction to the Analysis of Political and Administrative Data, SOC 5283 - Advanced Sociological Statistics.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students should possess graduation from an accredited high school or they should have received a GED. The high school curricular core requirements should include the following courses: 4 units of English, 3 units of college prep math, 3 units of laboratory science, 3 units of history and citizenship and 2 additional units. An official TOEFL score of 550 on the paper-based test (213 on the computer-based test or 79 on the internet-based test), IELTS score of 6.5 and cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.50 (on a 4.00 scale) is required.
