This specialization is based on the knowledge areas established by the Project Management Institute (PMI). It is designed to sharpen their project management skills, including project planning, risk management, and project procurement. Through core business courses, students will also strengthen their overall business acumen to build the perspective need to interact effectively with other managers to meet business goals. A capstone course allows students to apply their skills in planning, managing, and controlling the process to complete the project on time and on budget. People who choose this specialization are often pursuing project management, director-level, or consulting positions, especially those that are more business than IT-focused.

Core modules include: Professional Effectiveness: Stretch, Impact, Reposition MBA6010, Leading for Results MBA6020, Marketing and Brand Management MBA6110, Operations and Process Management MBA6130, Applied Managerial Statistics MBA6140, Accounting MBA6150, Financial Management MBA6160, Managing Information Assets and Technology MBA6180 and Strategy MBA6190. Specialization modules include: Project Planning, Management and Financial Control MBA6231, Assessing and Mitigating Risk MBA6233,Project Procurement and Solicitation MBA6235 and Advanced Project Management Techniques MBA6237. In addition students should choose 2 from the following: Sales and Customer Relationship Management MBA6120, Building Relationships MBA6210, Developing and Coaching Others MBA6220, Leading Teams MBA6230, Facilitating Change MBA6240, Leveraging Workplace Diversity MBA6250, Negotiating for Results MBA6260 and Regulatory and Ethical Environment of Business MBA6270. Capstone module to be taken in the final quarter is Project Management Capstone: Judgment, Planning, and Action MBA6330.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students must have completed bachelor's degree from an institution accredited by a U.S. Department of Education-recognized accrediting agency or an internationally recognized institution. They should possess a cumulative GPA of 2.3 from a bachelor's degree granting institution. International students whose language of instruction is not English are required to take one of the following tests: the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum acceptable score of 550 on paper-based test, 213 on computer-based test with a score of 4.0 or higher on the Test of Written English (TWE), or 79 on internet based examination; Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB) score of 80; International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a score of 6.5; or Pearson Test of English (PTE) score of 59.
