Ringkasan program

This program offers a select group of students a chance to complete their MBA in a rigorous, involving format that provides tremendous networking and career development opportunities while enabling them to finish in 22 months. The program features 30 hours of core classes that give students an essential overview of business knowledge, and an additional 18 hours of electives that can be targeted in a variety of career-related concentrations. Being part of this program involves not only the traditional classroom experience but also participation in a variety of academic, social and service activities that prepare students for future leadership roles. An internship component encourages students to apply their academic experiences to the real world and to explore different career paths. Doors swing open for graduates of the program who are interested in both an intellectual challenge and the opportunity to expand their career options. The specific learning goals of the MBA program are to help students to develop awareness of the environment of business; to develop cross-disciplinary competence; to develop critical thinking; to communicate effectively and to lead and to do so responsibly and ethically.

The modules are ACCT 6331 Financial Accounting, FINA 6387 Managerial Analysis, FINA 6335 Managerial Finance, DISC 6360 Statistical Methods for Business, DISC 6341 Information Systems, GENB 6350 Legal and Ethical Issues in Business, MANA 6332 Organizational Behavior and Management, MARK 6361 Marketing Administration, DISC 6301 Production and Operations Management, MANA 6383Strategic Management, Electives (18 semester hours).

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Students must have earned a four-year baccalaureate degree or higher degree from an accredited college or university, equivalent of a U.S. Bachelor’s degree. Students does not have minimum acceptable GPA or GMAT or GRE scores, they should be aware that of those recently admitted to the full time day program, the average GPA was 3.30 GPA and average GMAT was 600. International students should have an official TOEFL score above 603 on the paper-based test or 100 on the internet-based test, or an official IELTS score above 6.5 or an official PTE Academic minimum of 70 are required for admission.

University has on campus housing which is maintained by residential life and housing. The residential halls include Moody Towers, Quadrangle, Cougar Place and some privately owned halls are Cullen Oaks and Bayou Oaks. The student housing ranges from traditional single or double dorm rooms to suite-style halls to fully furnished on-campus apartments. All facilities are equipped with up-to-date amenities including cable TV and Ethernet connectivity. Apartment options also have kitchens. Meal plans are flexible and students can choose a weekly or semester meal allowance. The university offers world-class exercise equipment and facilities for an assortment of recreational activities. It is a great place to indulge the senses with a performance or an art exhibit. Stages on campus host dance, musical, and theatrical performances throughout the year. Students have a variety of options for parking on campus. In addition, several Metro bus routes serve the campus. Metro Van Pool services are also available for students who would like to get to know other commuters on the way to school.
