The policy and management specialization focuses on the reasons why investment in education is so highly valued by governments and individuals and how distance education programs are budgeted and their costs evaluated. The core of this specialization examines the technology costs and economics of distance learning and other management competencies.

The Graduate School does not require the Graduate Record Examinations (GRE) or the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) for admission to this program. A student may be admitted in one of three classifications: degree-seeking, provisional, or decision-pending. The decision-pending classification is temporary while students await final approval of admission. The admission requirements for each classification are explained in the following sections.
