Ringkasan program
This program is designed to enhance the knowledge and expertise of practicing teachers, combining theoretical perspectives and research-based practice with multiple opportunities for field-based projects and action research. Its goal is to support teachers as they assume leadership roles at the campus and district levels. The program includes 18 credit hours of coursework directly related to curriculum and instruction combined with 18 credit hours of coursework in one or more academic resource areas. The C and I courses will support the development of a program and professional portfolio as well as the completion of a comprehensive, field-based action research inquiry project. This program provides opportunities for educators to combine theoretical perspectives and research-based practice with field based projects and action research.
Modul program
The modules include EDCI 5130 Philosophy and Principles of Multicultural Education 3, EDCI 5320 Curriculum Development 3, EDCI 5360 Effective Teaching and Learning 3, EDCI 5710 Curriculum and Instruction Inquiry I 3, EDCI 5720 Curriculum and Instruction Inquiry II 3; EDSP 5755; 18 additional hours in one or more academic resource areas.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a regionally accredited institution. Students should have a 2.8 grade point average or higher on all undergraduate work or a 3.0 GPA on the last 60 hours of their undergraduate degree or a 3.4 GPA on their master's degree. International students should have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 79 (Internet-based), score of 550 (Paper-based) and score of 213 (Computer-based) and a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 overall band and also should have minimum MELAB (official version) score of 80 or higher.
