Ringkasan program
This program is designed for educators wishing to remain at the forefront of modern education by learning to use appropriate techniques to motivate and engage learners. The curriculum focuses on helping students develop a solid foundation of knowledge in learning theory, instructional design and the application of educational research methods. Students who complete the program will have acquired up-to-date knowledge that focuses on preparing them to pursue such career opportunities as course designer, education consultant, training and development advisor, curriculum manager and many others. The program is not designed to meet state educator licensing requirements. It may assist students in gaining licensure in their state of residence depending upon requirements.
Modul program
The concentration courses include EDU 633 Principles of Curriculum Improvement - (6) Credits; EDU 643 Designing Effective Courses - (6) Credits; EDU 673 Decision Making in Curriculum and Instruction - (6) Credits. The core courses include EDU 602 Analysis, Assessment, and Technology - (6) Credits; EDU 612 Educational Research Methods - (6) Credits; EDU 620 Principals of Instructional Design - (6) Credits; EDU 622 Applying Learning Theories - (6) Credits; EDU 660 Curriculum Design and Evaluation - (6) Credits.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale) in the baccalaureate degree earned. Accepted methods for the demonstration of English proficiency include TOEFL score of 550 or higher on the paper based test, 213 or higher on the computer based test and 79 or higher on the internet based test; Advanced Placement International English Language (APIEL) score of 4 or higher; International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 7 or higher; Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB) score of 80 or higher; University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate Certificate of Advanced English (UCLES CAE) grade of A, B or C; and University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate Certificate of Proficiency in English (UCLES CPE) grade of A, B or C.
