Ringkasan program
The program will prepare educators to be instructional administrators and leaders in a K-12 setting. It features collaboration, shared decision-making processes, and a focus on student learning and achievement. The program offers regular opportunities to integrate theory and practice. It encompasses seven themes: Collaboration and communication, Reflective practice, Data-driven decision making, Inclusiveness Technology, Leadership disposition development and Enhancing learning community.
Modul program
The courses include summer I--11 semester hours: EDLD 7930 - Internship (10 consecutive days), EDLD 7500 - Principal Leadership, EDLD 7510 -Action Research and Data Analysis, EDLD 7520 - Leadership and the Learning Organization, Fall - 7 semester hours: EDLD 7930 - Internship (5 consecutive days): EDLD 7530 - Planning and Continuous Improvement, EDLD 7540 - Instructional and Curricular Development, Spring - 7 semester hours, EDLD 7930 - Internship (5 consecutive days), EDLD 7550 - Financial Resource Management, EDLD 7560 - Educational Systems and Communications, Summer II- 8 semester hours: EDLD 7930 - Internship (10 consecutive days): EDLD 7570 - Legal and Ethical Issues, EDLD 7580- Supervision and Personnel Issues In Education, Evaluation of Capstone Presentation.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students to be considered for admission to the program must hold a Class B Professional Educator Certificate in a teaching field or a Class A Professional Educator Certificate in a teaching field or instructional support area. They should have a minimum of three full years of full-time, satisfactory professional educational experience in a P-12 setting, which must include P-12 experience. They should also write an on-site essay and participate in an individual interview w/university faculty / partner school districts and agree to participate in pre-, ongoing, and post-program evaluations and assessments.
