Ringkasan program
In this program students will get a great deal of hands-on experience in their classes. There are opportunities for showing their work on campus or at local galleries. In addition, the university is within easy commuting distance of Dallas and Fort Worth, where major art museums and galleries provide valuable resources and experiences for UNT students. Sculptors often are self-employed artists, showing and selling their works in museums and galleries and doing commissions for both public and private entities. The major in sculpture prepares them for such a career as well as preparing them for an advanced degree, should they consider teaching at the college or university level. It is a terminal degree, requiring a minimum of 60 credit-hours of graduate level coursework. A minimum of 24 credit hours must be in the graduate sculpture class.

Students must hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a regionally accredited institution. Students should have a 2.8 grade point average or higher on all undergraduate work or a 3.0 GPA on the last 60 hours of their undergraduate degree or a 3.4 GPA on their master's degree. International students should have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 79 (Internet-based), score of 550 (Paper-based) and score of 213 (Computer-based) and a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 overall band and also should have minimum MELAB (official version) score of 80 or higher.
