Ringkasan program
This program prepares students to become either a self-employed artist or to pursue a master of fine arts degree. Self-employed artists show and sell work in galleries, museums and a variety of other venues. The MFA degree would open up teaching opportunities at the college and university level. It is a terminal degree, requiring a minimum of 60 credit-hours of graduate level coursework. A minimum of 24 credit hours must be in the graduate drawing and painting class.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a regionally accredited institution. Students should have a 2.8 grade point average or higher on all undergraduate work or a 3.0 GPA on the last 60 hours of their undergraduate degree or a 3.4 GPA on their master's degree. International students should have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 79 (Internet-based), score of 550 (Paper-based) and score of 213 (Computer-based) and a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 overall band and also should have minimum MELAB (official version) score of 80 or higher.
