Ringkasan program
This 33-hour program prepares you for a career in forest management, in contrast to a career in research. It is appropriate for students who desire advanced training in forestry, but not a research focus. The Master of Forestry degree is also offered as the Peace Corps Master’s International Option and the Tropical Field Study Option. The program of study involves a minimum of 30 semester hours of coursework plus three hours of credit for the professional paper, plus any remedial coursework required as part of the admission, and is designed by the student in consultation with the student's Major Professor whose interests complement those of the student. The student's program of study includes core courses, as specified below, plus a selection of courses tailored to the student's personal interests. The development of both oral and written communications skills is an integral and essential part of the program.

To qualify for admission as a graduate student, a student must have a four-year United States bachelor's degree, or its equivalent, and must meet the admission requirements of the academic program to which they intend to apply. Enrollment Requirements. If the student intend to study on Northern Arizona's main campus, they must be enrolled for 9 hours of course work each fall and spring term. Of these 9 hours, 6 hours must be in face-to-face courses. They cannot enroll in more than 3 hours of online coursework in a term. If the student intend to enroll in an online program that they will pursue from your home country, the above requirements do not apply. Most graduate programs have an additional application form and require that additional materials (such as GRE scores, letters of recommendation, goal statement) be submitted directly to the department. They should contact your intended department of study to obtain their application requirements.
