Ringkasan program
This program prepares students by offering a wide range of training and instruction in user research, design methodology, concept development, prototyping, and computer simulation/modeling. Students also gain unique insights into the design profession through annual international studio programs in both Ireland and Taiwan. The courses are structured to the specific product and systems design area of the student's interest. In certain cases, additional course work beyond the minimum may be needed. Students can select either thesis option (35 credit hours) or non-thesis (40 credit hours) option.

The courses include INDD 7010 Design Orientation (3), First Year, Fall (required courses): INDD 7020 Computer/Design (3), INDD 7011 Portfolio (3), Second Year, Spring(required courses): INDD 7980(G) or 7990(NG) (3) or (2-5), optional courses: INDD 6010 History of IND II (3), INDD 6030 Case Studies In Design (3), INDD 6970 Special Problems (2-5), INDD 7610 Principles of Design (3), INDD 7620 Design Management (3), INDD 7630 Human Factors (3), INDD 7640 Aesthetics In Design (3), INDD 7650 Design Theories (3), INDD 7660 Design Methodology (3), INDD 7670 Systems Design (3), INDD 7980 Non-Thesis Design (3), INDD 7990 Thesis Design (2-5).
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students to be considered for admission must have a bachelor's degree in industrial design or its equivalent from an institution of recognized standing. Students with a baccalaureate from other disciplines such as engineering, management, psychology, architecture and life sciences, may be admitted to the graduate program under condition that a minimum of 43 credit hours in industrial design will be completed at the undergraduate level. (Post Bacc Program). Also students whose native language is not English must demonstrate their proficiency in English language either with a TOEFL scores of at least 550 on the written test (213 on the computer based test, 79 on the Internet Based Test with 16 in each section) or IELTS scores of at least 6.5.
