Ringkasan program
In this program students will be prepared for a career as a professional music teacher. UNT's music education degree program leads to Texas teacher certification in all-level music, opening an array of employment options. Teaching is an exciting and fulfilling career choice for those interested in blending musicianship and teaching skills. Music educators enjoy the process of providing musical experiences that lead to a better understanding and appreciation of music. To be a music teacher, they must not only be an accomplished musician, but also be interested in the art of teaching.
Modul program
The modules include MUED 5280, Admission Seminar, 3 hours, MUED 5120, Applied Research in Music Education, 3 hours, Professional specialization courses selected by the student, 6 hours.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Students must hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a regionally accredited institution. Students should have a 2.8 grade point average or higher on all undergraduate work or a 3.0 GPA on the last 60 hours of their undergraduate degree or a 3.4 GPA on their master's degree. International students should have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 79 (Internet-based), score of 550 (Paper-based) and score of 213 (Computer-based) and a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 overall band and also should have minimum MELAB (official version) score of 80 or higher.
