Ringkasan program
This program is designed to meet the requirements for licensure as PreK-12 school principals by the South Dakota Department of Education. The curriculum is aligned with national standards as set by the Educational Leadership Constituent Council (ELCC); the program is accredited by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE). Courses focus on effective leadership models, data driven decision making, school and community partnerships, and communication in the digital age.

Students should have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, minimum grade point average of 2.75 for bachelor's degree work. Students who do not meet this minimum GPA may be admitted if they have earned a GPA of 3.00 during the last 64 semester hours of bachelor's degree work or a GPA of 3.25 in their major field; a minimum GRE combined score of 800 on the verbal and quantitative sections, and at least 2.5 for the analytical writing section, international students should have a minimum score of 550 on paper-based, 213 on computer-based test or 79-80 on internet-based test.
