Ringkasan program
The CSU, Chico School of Nursing offers a master's program that is geared to meet the needs of nurses in a rural area. They provide a strong program that enables students to gain advanced knowledge and skills in the areas of adult health and the educator role. The clinical core courses provide a broad foundation in aspects of adult health from a biophysical and psycho-social/spiritual perspective, and they encourage and facilitate the development of each student's own area of clinical interest within the focus of the program. In addition, courses in research, nursing theory, and teaching/learning add depth to the core foundation. The course in the dynamics of the advanced nursing role helps with career planning and the transition into the expanded roles opened up by a master's degree in nursing.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
The students must have an acceptable baccalaureate degree in biological sciences with a 2.75 undergraduate grade point average in the last 60 units, or a 3.0 GPA in the last 30 units. Students with a baccalaureate degree in a discipline other than biology will be required to complete courses. Minimum score required on the General GRE is 1000 verbal with quantitative and 3.5 analytical. The Biology Subject GRE Exam must be taken before admission into the program or during their first semester in the program.
