Ringkasan program
This program offers unique clinical and academic opportunities. The curriculum is designed around a core of critical competencies. Many research opportunities are available to students in areas such as child language, autism, speech-sound disorders and cognitive neuroscience. The MS program is accredited in speech-language pathology by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Students who complete the program meet the academic and clinical requirements for ASHA certification and Texas licensure. It requires a minimum of 39 credit hours of organized courses. In addition, students enroll in practicum or internships each semester. The program takes five semesters of full-time study to complete. Students entering from out-of-field can complete the program in six semesters of full-time study. Job opportunities in speech-language pathology continue to expand and speech-language pathology is consistently rated among the best careers for the changing job landscape. Speech-language pathologists and audiologists are employed in a variety of educational and health care facilities including schools, clinics and hospitals.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Applicants must have a baccalaureate degree or its equivalent with a grade average of B or better in major and related fields. Students must have minimum TOEFL score of 550 on paper based, 80 on the internet based test and 6.5 on IELTS or 67 on PTE academic or a passing grade in level 112 of English from the ELS Language Centers.
