Ringkasan program
This program prepares students to analyze and understand critical topics and issues pertinent to the fields of recreation, leisure and tourism. The goal of the program is to provide an academic environment that fosters scholarship, critical thinking, and creativity while preparing graduates for leadership/management positions in research and professional recreation and tourism related public, non-profit, and private agencies. Coursework selection should reflect a sense of continuity and relevance based upon the student’s academic and professional goals.
Modul program
Modules include: REC 500 Research Methods, REC 502 Statistical and Data Analysis, REC 530 Recreation and Tourism Service Management, REC 552 Critical Issues in Recreation and Tourism, REC 555 Theoretical Perspectives in Community Development, REC 580 Practicum.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Applicant should have a U.S. bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution or the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor's degree from an international institution that is officially recognized by that country. They should have equivalent to a “B” average in the last 60 semester hours or 90 quarter hours of undergraduate coursework. They should have a minimum TOEFL requirement of 550 (PBT) or 80 (iBT). The minimum IELTS is an overall band score of 6.5 with no individual band below a 6.0.
