Ringkasan program
This degree is designed to provide students with the necessary background for employment as a professional statistician in business, industry, or government and to build a solid foundation for students interested in the Ph.D. program. Considerable flexibility in program emphasis is possible through the selection of elective courses.
Modul program
The core courses include STAT 704 - Data Analysis I, STAT 705 - Data Analysis II, STAT 712 - Mathematical Statistics I, STAT 713 - Mathematical Statistics II and STAT 714 - Linear Statistical Models.
Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional
Applicants must have earned a baccalaureate or higher degree from an accredited college or university. International students whose native language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency by obtaining minimum TOEFL score of 570 (paper-based) or 80 (internet-based). Applicants may also take the International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) in lieu of the TOEFL. A minimum score of 6.5 is required for the IELTS. Admission to the M.S. degree program requires a GRE score (verbal plus quantitative) of at least 1050 and an undergraduate GPA of approximately 3.20.
