The Master of Science degree in Systems Engineering will prepare engineers and related technical professionals for a career in systems engineering. It will prepare engineers who demonstrate lifelong learning, ethical behavior, sensitivity to cultural needs in the design and development of systems, and inclusion of people from traditionally underrepresented groups. The curriculum is multi-disciplinary and oriented toward industry needs. Faculty with industry experience teach classes based in theory and emphasizing applications relevant to the regional industries. The Master of Science degree in Systems Engineering students complete 36 credits including a core of 15 credits, plus courses in Simulation, Human Aspects, Financial Analysis and technical electives. The curriculum includes an engineering project that can be done individually or as a group. Students also have the option of taking two additional courses in lieu of this Engineering Project.

The applicant must hold a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university or its equivalent. A minimum scores in Test of English as a Foreign Language 550 Paper-based, 213 Computer-based, 80 Internet- based with a minimum score of 20 for both the writing, and speaking sections of the test School code 6110. Michigan English Language Assessment Battery 80, International English Language Testing System, 6.5 for graduate programs. Master’s programs require a bachelor’s degree (or the equivalent degree if earned outside the U.S.) for admission. An overall grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.7 meets minimum requirements, but applicants with lower GPAs will be considered based on their professional experience.Provide Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score. The university requires a score greater than 550, Provide Graduate Record Exam General Test score, Provide a copy of academic transcripts (translated and evaluated).
