Students who are interested in an international management career are encouraged to take electives that offer in-depth exposure to international business practices, culture, and language. In addition, it recommend electives that provide additional depth in the areas of finance, accounting, marketing and operations. To further differentiate themselves from the standard set of MBA skills, students are encouraged to select an alternative kind of Applied Management Research (AMR) project, for example in Micro Finance or Social Entrepreneurship. Recently, the opportunities for alternative AMR projects have strongly increased. The Center for International Business Education & Research (CIBER) offers the Advanced International Management AIM) Program.

Persyaratan masuk bagi mahasiswa internasional

Applicants must hold a four-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and must submit a fully completed application for admission. International applicants should check for degree equivalency on the Admissions website. The Admissions Committee evaluates applicants’ prospects as leaders in management and their projected ability succeed in, benefit from and contribute to the UCLA Anderson MBA Program. Committee members carefully consider personal and academic background information, GMAT scores, TOEFL scores (for most international applicants), achievements, awards and honors, employment history, letters of recommendation, and college and community involvement, especially where candidates have served in leadership capacities. The Admissions Committee seeks to create a community of students who bring unique contributions from their diverse backgrounds and experiences and who will collectively enrich the educational experience. All prospective students must have a demonstrated knowledge of algebra and differential calculus before beginning the Anderson MBA Program. It is recommended that all admitted students complete a differential calculus course prior to the start of their MBA studies. All admitted students are expected to have a working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The minimum TOEFL scores required for admission to the University is 560 (paper-based test), or 220 (computer-based test), or 87 (iBT). Bear in mind that these are minimum scores, and that few applicants have been admitted with scores below 260 on the TOEFL-CBT, below 100 on the iBT, or below 600 on the paper-based version.
